Annoyances

Are people not allowed to get annoyed anymore? Worse, are we not allowed to express that annoyance? This is ridiculous. I got annoyed this morning, started talking to myself and asking a couple questions to figure out why I was annoyed- because I figure, if I don't have a legitimate reason for this feeling then get rid of it right? I ask a question to someone else, they don't know the answer, I don't hear them, I ask them, "What?" they repeat it, with an annoyed tone, and then I ask another question but this time to myself, I heard him answer but I wasn't talking to him so I ask, "What?" and I get yelled at, and then told that I need to check myself. Seriously? Wasn't that what I was just doing? Wow. Now I have become so much more annoyed and quite frankly, mad. It isn't safe for me to talk to myself. Would it be overly immature to give the silent treatment? That's what I really want to do. I want to leave the house and just be on my own, blow off some steam, and I want him to apologize. I've been working on apologizing for things... I'm horrible at it. I have figured out the reason though- to me an apology is talking and realizing you're wrong even if you don't verbalize the "I'm Sorry" Isn't it inquired when you're saying, "Hey I was wrong, let's move past that..." I thought it was. Apparently you have to say the words "I'm sorry" for it to mean anything... Yet growing up, actually til this day, my mom has said I'm sorry so many times I've lost count and practically every one of those sorry's was a load of horse manure. So I'm sorry I take that sentence for what it's value has been taught to me by my mother, which is NOTHING. I take action as the apology. Although I like to hear the words I'm sorry from people other then my mom. Maybe they actually mean it, partially. Does banging things around fix a problem? I think not. I'm fairly calm when I'm mad. Seems to get to people, my calmness. They could learn a few things huh?

Relatively True?

Can you study/analyze something, anything, without using any of your senses?

Evolution vs. Sex

This isn't an argument between religions or non-religions. It is simply my thoughts on how idiotic and poorly supported the idea of my ancestors being monkeys, or me coming from nothing but a bacteria with no purpose in life, etc. is.

If God didn’t create the world as it is- if we had it the way most people want it when they ask, “Why didn’t He just do this or this… Why this? Etc.” we would be in Heaven already or we would simply be robots and nothing would ever progress or change, OR there would simply not be life. God had to set things up for everything to not only be believable but also livable. If He simply created man, gave them all the answers and walked the earth the entire time we’ve been here, proving He exists- creating everything we ever need for survival, there would be no learning, there would be no point, or what we continue to search for, purpose to life. You start from being naked, not a care in the world, knowing God personally, to descending into having to look over your shoulder every other minute, working for what you’ve got and in order to keep it, learning, evolving, questioning, analyzing, having fashion statements, and basically- LIVING. [ side note: He says we’re all born in sin. Meaning those ‘innocent’ children weren’t innocent. He knew what they would be (site instances of genocide). He had to let them do what they wished, freewill (site Abraham along with Sodom & Gomorrah, He wasn't being an unjust God)], or again there wouldn’t be any beauty to life- why? Because you wouldn’t know what beauty is- you wouldn’t know because you wouldn’t know what ugly is. Why- because you wouldn’t be allowed to learn, or form an opinion, or progress through life if you didn’t have freewill. You’d simply be. You have to have both in order to have one. That’s the issue with evolution. Yes we've 'evolved' but not in the creation of the world, BIG BANG, sense. I'm talking about the historical sense, learning over time, evolving our ways over time, technology, medicine, fashion- that sort of sense.

If we all came from slime, or one single bacterium, or a single cell, whatever the case maybe- science CAN disprove the ‘evolution theory’ where we evolved from those simple molecules into monkeys and so on. Just study people- we’re all different, we have personalities, characters, life experiences and influences that have molded and shaped us into who we are today. PLUS in order to reproduce you need a woman and a man, their sex organs, their DNA(holding all their personality traits and such making them who they are individually) and genes, reproductive liquids. Yes, today we can take an egg and sperm, fertilize, and make a baby with science- but we didn’t have any of that back then- which again has been proven. BUT if you were to take the lab baby (which you still NEED the repro’s from both the male and female- the two completely different cells DNAs genes etc) to ‘produce’ the zygote, it would need an incubator (which were not available back then- proven) to nurse the baby, here’s another thought- where is it’s food? It’s common knowledge that you need nutrients to survive, even animals and plant life. Yes bacteria feed on other germs but as simple and nondescript this argument/question is, where did those other germs come from? Did they branch off of the ‘original’ bacterium then? Where did the original one come from? "...on the back of crystals..."? Seriously? Where did the crystals come from? WHATEVER I can keep going- You need outside sources to live, different sources to live, just for kicks&giggles- take a bite of your finger- now what you pee and poop out, eat it- pee and poop it out again, eat it again- you can’t survive off of that because of the way our bodies work. We absorb all the nutrients needed or present in whatever we eat- excreting the stuff we don’t need. Even if there were a few nutrients leftover in your feces, after eating and processing it over and over again, it will be thoroughly cleansed of any nutrients your body can retrieve from it. Not to mention the fact that babies cannot survive without a mother and/or someone to raise them and show them the ropes. You would die, period, animals and humans alike. Oh and I have another thought for whomever- the whole ape evolving into man thing is stupid. No other way to put it. If that were true then why hasn’t any ape, gorilla, or other monkey specimen, evolved into a human since humans have existed hmm? Just compare our bone structure- like our thumbs and junk. We don’t match. I don’t care if you don’t believe in God, to each his own- but if you’re bent on proving that God doesn’t exist and He didn’t make us, come up with a better theory. My so-called ‘ape-like brain’ just can’t handle such vacuous notions you 'humans-are-advanced-monkeys' followers have been spouting.

Propaganda vs. Bullying

I live in Lynchburg, Virginia. Today is the day citizens of Lynchburg are to vote for their preferred candidates running for city council. I work at LU. Liberty University is a Christian university. It holds convocation as a Catholic school would hold chapel. (Just a bit of background) The Chancellor of the university has been continually arguing with city officials over the years in regards to whether or not the students have the right to vote in these local elections. You see, we have some 10,000+ students ON campus each semester. So you can imagine in a smaller city how these students from around the world, not just around the nation, could sway a vote. I do not agree with students who are from another state or country (legal citizens or not), who do not reside in this city year 'round, voting in local elections. BUT I do agree with those who live here (especially if you're here for 4+ years working and such) having the right to vote. Now another issue I have is the people who don't follow the candidates or their values, voting as if it's a 'don't-look-pull-a-piece-of-candy-out-of-the-bag-and-be-surprised' type of deal. That's just wrong. If you don't care, then simply don't vote. That is how America has continually slipped into the corrupt government, not listening to the people, all about money, etc... It's the people who follow the majority, not thinking for themselves who have gotten us to where we are today, thanks. That's a whole different topic though. I don't agree with some of the Chancellors tactics or possibly even a hidden agenda. I don't agree with the strict following of a specific party regardless of the individual's moral standards or character. ANYWAY today we had a mandatory convocation, staff and students, the Chancellor wanted to stress how important it is to vote yada yada yada. There were students standing outside of the building handing out flyers with an article Democrat John E. Lawrence (chairman of the Lynchburg Democratic Party) had written and was published in the newspaper. I don't agree with the handing out flyers trying to sway my vote either- it's not, in my opinion, 'Christ-like'. I read the article and this arrogant man swayed me away from wanting to vote anything remotely democrat. How pathetic is that? Maybe you should read what the person you appoint to represent your group has written before allowing it to be published. It was petty, and I tore apart every single 'reason' he had for people to not like Liberty University. He called both the founder and the now Chancellor bullies, and refused to provide any facts, merely rumors. As far as I'm concerned, if you can't back your argument, can't provide significant proof of your claims, not be bigoted and arrogant, then you have none of the necessary qualities a leader should have. Being spiteful gets you nowhere sir.

I will tell all who read this that I picked my candidates based on their background and leadership qualities, all that good stuff- I think that one or two, even though they claim to be of the Independent party, are actually Democrats. But they are who I believe would do well in the position they're running for.

My question is: What is the difference between propaganda and bullying?
